Hi babes, did everyone have a nice weekend? I cleaned and sat poolside for a bit. Uneventful but that's sometimes a good thing right? I am ready to get back to filming and a face of makeup tomorrow! 2 days without makeup is way too long for me....does that sound silly? Doing my makeup in the morning has become sort of a ritual of sorts for me. I miss it when I don't get to do it....such a girl!
On a brighter note, Dexter starts tonight!!! Are any of you as obsessed as I am with that show?? I won't go on and on but I will say that I will cry buckets when it is over for good! Buckets I tell you!!
Focus woman and get on with the nails....
I got bored at the pool (no offense mom, you were playing with my kids at the time) so I picked all of my polish off. Nothing I hate more than chipped picked off polish so I ran right home and got these biatches in order. I was a bit stumped on what to do so I pulled out the ol' Illamasquas and got down to bidness!
Whaddya think? I almost did a gradient, then a dotticure but I settled on clouds. I must say I love these colors together! I do feel myself getting into a bit of a "routine" with my nail art. I need to expand my horizons, any ideas for me? New things to try out, something I haven't tried before?
If you're not sure how I did these cute little clouds, here's a little tutorial I did a few months ago that should help!
Illamasqua Jo'Mina, Illamasqua Noble and China Glaze Glistening Snow were my choices for this mani. Everytime I use these Illamasqua beauties, I don't ever want to pick up another brand of polish! The formula is unreal, seriously unreal! They go on like buttah and are so opaque it should be illegal! Mama smacking is a definite if you use any of these sexpots so get your hand greased up and ready to do some damage!
Glistening Snow is another polish that I cannot get enough of. It's from the China Glaze Holiday 2012 Collection and I picked it up on a whim. Now, as my only bottle gets close to empty, I am smacking myself (I guess this could be considered self inflicted mama smacking) because I didn't grab 10 backups. I LOVE this glitter polish. She is totally opaque in 2 coats and so incredibly beautiful! I don't have any other glitter polish that goes on so smooth and opaque. China Glaze needs to make this part of their core collection because it is amazing, excuse me.... AMAZING!! The glitter is so finely milled and micro perfect that it just goes on like a regular polish but you get all the shimma shimma of a chunky "doesn't play nice with others" glitter. I will be cruising Amazon for a few backups because this is definitely a polish I cannot live without (drama queen in full effect tonight kids)!
Alright, I hear my serial killer boyfriend calling me from the tv, until tomorrow my loves!
Happy Polishing kittens!

You Can Find Me on the Ranch...Big T Ranch!!
Twice in one day, can you guys handle all this polish??
I have 2 polishes to show you from Big T Ranch Soaps. Yep soaps, and tons of it! But I am reviewing 2 polishes that are on this site mixed in with all the amazing handmade soaps and goodies! After looking through Robyn's store, I was kind of sad I didn't have any soaps to review. They look so fun in all different shapes and smells. The stuff this amazing woman can do with soap is cray cray!! Maybe in the future I will turn into Young Wild and Sudsy but for today I'm still me, polish polish and more polish!
First up is my favorite of the pair Spring Fling:

First up is my favorite of the pair Spring Fling:
I can smell spring in the air just looking at this polish!
Amongst the gliter there are the cutest little flower and butterfly glitters. And the nicest thing? I didn't have to wrestle with the bottle to get them out! They were there on the brush, pretty much calling my name. I was pleasantly surprised!
I think this polish is adorable and can totally see me wearing this once the weather breaks with a bright coral color underneath! For this swatch I used Essie Maximillian Strasse-her.
Next up is the super fun Secret Garden:
This reminds me of an abstract work of art. I love it! I used Illamasqua Harem for my base and I think it was a good choice. I love how the bright colors pop against the pink background. And the teal colored diamonds were my favorite! Although I did have a little trouble placing them. On my ring finger I got 3 or 4 at once and they all made a sort of french mani line up by the tip of my nail. I attemped to push a few to a different spot on my nail but those babies were not having it. Sometimes glitters move around nicely on the nail, other times not so much. Either way I loved the finished look of this mani. As with Spring Fling, I'm quite curious to try this with different base colors!
Big T Ranch may be known for their soaps and candles (which I already have a wish list for) but they certainly also know their way around some glitter and polish! I was really impressed with these 2 polishes. The formulas were great and the glitter payoff was awesome!
Everything at Big T Ranch is handmade by Robyn. She even uses goats milk from her own goats in the soaps and lotions. Can't get any fresher than that. She has some really adorable unique items in her Etsy shop. I linked it above, make sure you guys check her out!
Polishes retail for $8 and come in 15 ml bottles.
Young Wild and Ranch Hand does kind of have a nice ring to it doesn't it??
Happy Polishing cow pokes!

Did you know....I'm a Darling Diva!!
What up homies? You probably will be hearing from me at least twice today....I have a few reviews to get done and Saturday is my day for doing them. I am always so thrilled when Saturday rolls around...a day of polishing and spending time with the fam, what else is there?
Those of you who follow me on Instagram have already seen these gorgeous girls from Darling Diva Polish (I just couldn't wait to post them) and the one I actually wore as a full mani to work yesterday. This is a true sign that I love a polish!
Without further ado, I'd like to introduce you all to a few ladies I just met....

I'm Sweet on You:
Definitely a mama smacker! I used a base of Rimmel Sweet Lavender, which happens to be a favorite of mine. (wait, isn't every purple a favorite of mine)? It's a super soft purple that worked so well under this glittery little lady! I did 2 coats of ISOU and 2 thick coats of Seche Vite. She was a little bumpy but the Seche evened everything out just fine.
I couldn't resist taking a macro shot of this.
Someone on IG said it looked like cells, which is totally kind of weird but so spot on!
Cheer Bear:
How adorable is this? I'm usually not a fan of hearts or any other shapes of glitter aside from the normal circles, squares and hexes. But I really loved the hearts in this baby! They were super delicate and almost sheer against the pink backgroud.
I used Sinful Colors Pink Forever as my undies. I wish you guys could see this one in person. There are teeny tiny microscopic pieces of glitter throughout this polish in every color of the rainbow. So fun and so pretty! I am already thinking of the other bases I can use under this hot little number!
I wanted to lick my fingers when I was wearing this...reminds me of candy and all things girly! That would just be weird so instead I kissed each finger lovingly, which is totally not weird, just for the record.
You guys know I love my macro shots! You can thank me later for this nail porn.
Good Luck Bear:
This was my favorite of the bunch, I just love the little stars against the gorgeous green base! This brand has literally changed the way I feel about little glitters in polish. When they're done right, I actually don't mind stars and hearts on ma nails! I think the stars make this polish!
I used Illamasqua Nomad as undies and it was the perfect pairing. I totally am smacking anyone in a 15 foot vicinity over this hot girl. Good polish makes me violent, and I kinda like it!
Here's a macro shot of this little lady:
Overall I am quite happy with these 3 babies! This was my first time using Darling Diva Polish and I am already paging through Carrie's Etsy store trying to decide which ones I want to order! So far I am up to 5 definites and 4 maybes, holy hell, why don't I just check the box that says "1 of each". There is such a box right? RIGHT???
Polishes retail for $8 with the holographic and duochromes being $12. I linked Carrie's Etsy store above, make sure you guys check it out! Get you soooome!!!
Happy Polishing Loves!!

Illamasqua Spam and a Whole Lot of Mama Slapping!
Hello dolls, are we all glad it's Friday?? I know I am!! We are expecting a snow storm this weekend so you all will probably be bombarded with nails from this girl. My kids are with my mom so that leaves 2 days of whatever the H E double hockey sticks I want!
I had a Sephora store credit left over from Christmas time so I went in and purchased a few Illamasqua polishes and I couldn't be happier. I don't have much experience with this brand but from what I have seen I am definitely drinking the kool aid!
And don't fret...I threw in a little nail art so you guys wouldn't get antsy and rebel!
Swatch pics are 2 coats, no topcoat..... nail art pics are topcoated with Seche Vite.
First up is Lament:

I accidentally deleted some pics before uploading so there's not a ton of photo spammage today but this baby is front and center for some nail art so bear with me.
Isn't she a beaut? The color may not be too unique, I mean we have all seen a gorgeous neon peachy coral before, but the formula on this baby makes me want to punch someone in the face! She dried to a gorgeous shiny finish, no topcoat needed. This beauty is gonna be on my tootsies ASAP!
Shut the front door....before I beat the piss out of someone! I know a polish is gorgeous when I want to smother anyone in a 5 mile radius just because I'm so fucking excited!
I almost didn't buy this one because I already have so much purple. Thank the sweet Lord above that I did. I am totes in love with this polish! The formula applied like heaven in a bottle and the color is such a gorgeous shade of bright lilac. It is very similar to my favorite polish ever, Sation Tardy Tart...a true momma slapper..(.I think I will do a comparison post at some point). I can easily see this becoming my go to purple. 2013 just started but I can guarantee this baby and the one your about to see will be in my tops of the year!!
Muse:
Do I even need to say anything? My mother is in a fucking coma and the kids are next!! I'm slapping bitches like it's my job! I can't help it, I just get so excited when a polish is this amazing. Not only is the color perfect but the formula was divine! I bitched about having to spend $15 on this polish but let me tell you what....after using it, I'd sell my soul to the devil for this little dumpling of goodness!
Amazing color, amazing formula....if you're looking for a good polish, this is the girl for you! Well worth the higher price tag!
I couldn't let these babies go without a little nail art. I used Lament and Jo'mina....I will have an upcoming post of nail art using Muse. She deserves her own post don't ya agree?
Just some random dots. These 2 colors play so well together!
It's been so long since I've done a cloud mani. If you aren't familiar with this method, you can see the tutorial here. It looks so hard but I promise you it is very simple. You're just using the polish brush and making one swipe down the nail for each "puff" of the cloud. The hardest part is getting the right amount of polish on the brush. You have to have enough to get the rounded look at the bottom but not too much or it will be too thick on the nail. Practice makes perfect though and the color combinations for this one are endless!
What do you guys think of these beauties? Are you as in love with them as I am?
Illamasqua can be purchased at Sephora and directly from Illamasqua. I'm sure there are many other places on the web but these are the 2 main ones that I know of. A google search will pop up everything you need.
Make sure you check my Youtube channel this weekend....2 new videos will be up!
Happy Polishing Dolls!
