My First Attempt at Freehand....and a side of Turkey!

Hello my little turkeys....Happy Thanksgiving to all my US friends....I am currently sipping on some wine (it's 10 am, don't judge me people) and waiting for this bird to cook.  I'm quite surprised with myself that I am finding the time to blog today with cooking and all, but dedication is my middle name. I may not survive a day with my mother in law so I figure I'll get one last post in!  Either way the nails must go on!

This mani happened totally by accident.  I am learning that these are turning out to be the best mani's, especially when they turn out just how you envision them.

I know, it's not very "freehand-y" (use that word in a sentence today!) but it's something.  My base color is Sinful Colors Nirvana, a creamy gorgeous hot cocoa color. Here's Nirvana all by herself...

I was really happy with how this one turned out, and the color combinations are endless!  Hopefully you will be seeing a lot more freehand designs like this one.  I am trying to broaden my horizons, hopefully you guys will not run away screaming as I master this skill.  I definitely need more practice!

Ok, turkey calls!  I hope all of my US friends have a safe and totally obese Thanksgiving.  I plan on eating until I can't walk!  I love Thanksgiving dinner so hard!

    1. Sorry it's taken me so long, I didn't use a striping brush, just the ones that came with the polishes. Thank you for the sweet compliments!!
