Essie Lilacism Gets Made Into a Hottie

Well it's here....one more day until that beaming yellow bus comes rolling down the street to pick up my 3 little (well ok big) angels.  No more sleeping til noon, no more lazy pool days.  And no more fighting for 6 hours straight while I rock back and forth in a corner and wonder why that yellow beacon of delight stopped coming to our house in the first place.  But onto what really matters, nails......the kids can wait....

Today's mani is a real stunner.  The marriage between a pastel and a sparkly topper.  And I got to officiate the weddin' y'all!!  Now I love me some Essie Lilacism, she is probably my favorite lilac. I am on bottle # 6 I believe.  Yes I use a lot of Essie but that's with water marbling thrown in there as well.  But last night she looked lonely, like she needed a friend.  Enter Sinful Colors Hottie from stage left. The 2 like each other very much....don't you agree?

**Sigh**  I just love sparkles!  This is 2 coats of Lilacism followed by 2 coats of Hottie.  I have layered Hottie over other colors in the past but I think this is my favorite combo thus far! It wasn't "in your face" bright and crazy but it still has a huge impact with all that shimmy sham!!

Here are a few blurred photos I took in the sun so you could see how this baby dances!!

This makes me want to try more combinations with Hottie!  I love the name and at $1.99 a bottle, sometimes less, I really like the price!!  Have you tried Ms. Hottie?  What color combos did you choose?

Happy Polishing Loves!!!

  1. Sinful Colors is 3.99 on sale here, normally 5.99, and essie goes for anywhere between 9-12 dollars! But I may have to suck it up and buy both those, because I LOVE that mani!!!
