Sation Tardy Tart with a sprinkling of Salt n Peppa

Well we made it through the work week, if only I could freeze time and make the weekend stick around!  It always feels like it goes so fast!   I have so much swatching to do....looks like my saturday is gonna be a busy one! I can hear my cuticles crying already!!

Yesterday I went to Marshall's and Sally Beauty and I picked up a few new polishes.  Yeah, yeah I know, just what I need right?  But when I was there a few weeks ago, they had Sation Polishes and I love me some Sation polishes!  They're quite hard to find around here, so I did what any normal nail blogger would do....I bought every single one!

I knew as soon as I saw Sation Tardy Tart that it was gonna be a favorite of mine, and oh baby was I right?

I loved it so much, I did my right hand and wore this to work!

Essie Play Date...there's a new sheriff in town!!

Shut your mouth and slap your momma, I am dying over this color!!  Needless to say my mother got the taste slapped out of her mouth!  I wish my camera would have captured how neon this polish truly is.  I really am head over heels in love!

On my ring finger I had a little fun with striping tape.  I put on 2 coats of Layla Ceramic Effects Pure Black then one coat of Seche Vite.  I let that dry about 5 minutes and then I got to taping.  I taped off my nail and put on one coat of  Tardy Tart.  I removed the tape immediately.  I added another coat of SV after about 15 minutes.  I always wait until the very end to topcoat nail art because you will smudge it and you WILL be pissed!

Formula on this lovely, along with every Sation polish I own, was perfect!  The brush on Tardy Tart was a little wonky but it was workable.  I would put this polish on with the most jacked up brush in the world if it meant I got to experience purple polish heaven! All pictures are 2 coats and one coat of SV.

Once I was done with the accent nail, I still felt like I needed a little something to finish things off.  I knew just the thing!  *enter from stage left*  Lush Lacquer Salt n Peppa.  If you haven't had the opportunity to meet Ms. Salt n Peppa then you are missing out!  She is a glorious black and white glitter with just a hint of shimmer.  My second bottle is pretty much empty, thank heavens I just ordered another.  This glitter along with many other gorgeous polishes can be found on Etsy.  Shipping is fast and customer service is amazing.  Lush Lacquer is one of my first and most favorite indie polish brands!

If you guys are interested in Sation polishes, check your local TJ Maxx and Marshalls!  I have heard mixed things....some people have lots of luck as I have, and others not so much.  They retail for $2.99.  For that price it's worth taking a drive to your local store!  I have also had a lot of luck finding some old OPI colors at these same stores!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands!! Be sure to smack the glasses off your mama and make me proud!!

Happy Polishing and Happy Sation Hunting!!
