Just a little polish known as FLOAM!!!!

Have you ever wanted a polish so badly and when you finally get it, you are so let down because it didn't live up to the hype in your mind....well, that's not the case with Floam!!!  This beauty lives up to the hype.  If you look up the word hype in the dictionary there will be a picture of Floam chilling wearing a baseball cap sideways, because that's how darn cool she is!

If you're not familiar with Floam, it is a gorgeous matte glitter polish made up of green, blue and yellow glitter.  The glitter is matte so the polish is not sparkly and shiny.  Remember the stuff we played with as kids that you could form and mold to make fun shapes. It was called...wait for it....yep, Floam.  Well, just picture that in polish form.  I tried for a while to get my hands on this baby but it is constantly sold out so I gave up about 3 months ago.  My wonderful friend Radha at The Polish Owl (go check her out, she is the sweetest thing and she has gorgeous nails and polishes) had purchased Floam but decided it didn't look good on her.  Guess who the lucky girl was that Radha sent her Floam to?!  You guessed it, little old me!   She also sent me Humble Bee which I will feature in an upcoming post.

Without further ado....meet my new best friend Flo, I mean Floam, hehe.....

Isn't she a beaut?  I am officially in love, all the hype around this one is well worth it!  Application was a little tricky.  I thinned it out after 3 nails, and it was a LOT better!  I used a base of China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise and it was the perfect underwear for Ms. Flo!  I then did 3 coats of Floam leaving about 5 minutes between each coat.  She is hungry and she will eat your topcoat.  I put on one coat of Gelous and 2 coats of Seche Vite. It is still a little bumpy but I don't even care.

I am so happy with this polish, big thanks to my friend Radha!  Floam can be purchased at NinjaPolish.com.  It is rarely, well pretty much never in stock but you can get on the email list and they will alert you when it is available.  Yea, good luck with that.  By the way, Floam is made by a genius named Amy over at Nail-Venturous.  She truly is an artist!

I know some people don't feature Floam on their blog because of the fact that people cannot get their hands on it.  I hope this doesn't offend anyone.  I am just so excited and I wanted to share it will you all.  Certainly not meant to be mean or "nah nah nah I got it and you don't".  I literally have been waiting to get my polished paws on this baby foreva and a day!  I hope those of you interested get it also!  Blog sales and swaps are a great way to get hard to find items you are looking for!

Happy Polishing Loves!!!
